Today was the big day. Dee came round with some seedlings and beans to plant out. As I suspected for a while, the only Dede truly interested in gardening is Mouse. She virutally wanted to hop into the basket with heritage beans, but when Dee showed her the seedlings she had been raising for us, Mouse clapped her mittens in excitement and then ran off to fetch her shovel. Dee had to show her what to do next. But before we could plant the seedlings I had to put more compost and potting mix down. Mouse just couldn’t lift the big heavy bags.
Dee showed her how to plant out the young beans and when it came to the tomatoes, Mouse wanted to do it all by herself. She nearly disappeared in the soft bed, but she seemed to have fun.
Gardening is good for the soul, you should introduce some of the other characters to the garden, perhaps they will lose themselves – who knows? Hey, Punch & Judy preparations are nearing completion, watch out for a couple of pictures of the booth, which is working out better than I’d expected. Now it’s rehearsals and practice. Cheers, Tony
Congratulations on your booth. Are you making a film of your performance at one stage. I am really curious.
I have finally started to make new Dedes. Top Dog is currently in the making.
In due course the blockbuster will be out, meanwhile there is a lot of work to be done in rehearsal and practice. I’m coming at this late, so its a little harder. I’m looking forward to seeing the new Dedes. Did you know Dede is the second person singular of Dedo – to surrender, to give up, to abandon?
This is an interesting piece of information. I wonder who is to surrender. From their viewpoint it might be me :)
Hang in there! Just because you THINK they are out to get you doesn’t mean they aren’t.
