Alien seems to be happy, but he is a happy chappy anyway, not a softy like Devil and Mouse. Anyway, he came into the kitchen today to give us the latest update on the campaign for the Artist’s Survival Cookbook. We have 4 people who pre-ordered the book so far and a whooping 870 people who watched the film.
“What’s there to celebrate?” asked Devil. “If only every eighth person would pre-order the book, we would have met our target by now. Nah, I don’t believe in this modern marketing stuff.”
“That is why you are no longer the spokesperson for the Dedes” replied Alien. “Let me have a go at it!”
“I only know I can’t do it anymore” said Mouse, and got herself a new handkerchief.
So, how can I pre-order the book? Must have missed something whilst we were away. Took P&J and the whole crew to the local folk festival over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend where they were almost rapturously received. Four performances and I was exhausted and hoarse, Mr P was not at all sympathetic, Judy just went off to rescue the baby who had been thrown out of the window (landed in the toilet), and the rest of them decided to go to bed early. Only the crocodile spent time looking around the festival, and sent children screaming. But even he had to come back to the tent and go to bed. How’s weather, are you all freezing? Tony
I am so excited for your Troupe. That sounds like it was a lot of fun. You need to make a film!!! Your puppets are gorgeous, but I think seeing them in action is yet another level.
