Ah well, it had to happen sooner or later. I have the winter blues. But from now on things can only go up.
The Dedes are fighting over who should be allowed to come with me to Melbourne this weekend. I want to take one of them to have some company when I explore the place. I have never been to Melbourne before so it will be good to share the experience with someone. Devil thought – as my favourite – he will be the chosen one. Unfortunately he is a bit too big headed and awkward to pack, as I’ll only take a cabin bag. I might take one of the new ones as their characters are not formed yet. I have added their pictures to the Characters page. Does anybody have any suggestions? Who would you like to hear more about?
The fairy godmother, It would be a good chance to get to know her and a chance to share your life stories. You never know you might have need of her. I was tossing up about Scardy Pants whose face I like. He could probably do with his self confidence building, but it could be a strain when you are trying to get around, dragging him out of every corner. Definitely leave the socialite at home – in Melbourne, you’d never know where she was at night. Tony
It is not an easy decision :). Isn’t it?
Fairy Godmother would be a good choice but she has a big head gear on, so she might not fit into my box. And Scardy Pants will be a problem, as I will have to leave him alone during the day. I am going to Melbourne for a puppeteering course. I think Scardy Pants would sit in the darkened hotel room and wait for my return, this would put a bit of pressure on me.
Mouse or Lap Dog…
Mouse certainly would plan my day…. She always tries to pack too much into the schedule. But she certainly would take care of me and I wouldn’t have to worry aobut anything organisational.
Lap Dog is a lovely one too, but she might not like to be on her own during the day.
I need one that is independent and can look after herself during the day and is willing to listen to all my crazy new ideas at dinner time…
Ok… so how about professor? He would be a great company at the dinner table…
Oh, I seem to be very picky when it comes to choosing my companion. Professor likes to drink and I can’t afford to pay for all the wine he would like to consume. And I might havt to take Pig too as they don’t want to be separated… Philosopher would be the ideal travel mate, but he doesn’t fly because the negative impact flying has on the environment. He would go by boat though, but that is not an option…
What do you know about “Techno Man”? He seem’s to have a flatter profile and I was attracted by the clock symbol on his head.
Techno Man doesn’t take part in the daily life yet. He is holding his head down and is constantly looking in a little black box. I should invite him for a cup of coffee to find out more about him :)
